- You must be a resident of Ontario
- You must an individual donating from your own funds
- You must not exceed a donation of $1200 to the campaign. If a person makes more than one contribution (e.g. contributes money, contributes good, and purchases a ticket to a fundraising event), the total value of all the contributions cannot exceed $1200.
- Corporations and Trade Unions are not permitted to make contributions
- The Municipal Elections Act requires the name, postal code, and donation amount of each individual donor who contributes more than $100 be made public after the election.
