- Encourage neighbours to participate in a community safety audit of their street - looking at lighting, stop signs, potholes, etc.
- Increase safety along key sidewalk intersections where children, families, and seniors frequent with larger and flashing stop signs.
- Ensure large development plans include mix-use to create opportunities for small businesses to launch and places for families and friends to visit in walking distance.
And of course, you can't go long without reliable access to public facilities like washrooms and drinking water stations.
